The Children Singing Peace Foundation (CSPF), created in 2007, was inspired by Dawn L. Ferguson’s then 7 year personal journey sharing her composition Children Singing Peace Around the World (CSPAW) in a global peace “walk” flowed by grass roots volunteerism, hosting, collaboration and loving acts of friendship. Incorporated in Hawaii on December 10, 2007, CSPF is recognized as a 501(c) 3 charitable non-profit corporation in the U.S, as well as a tax exempt npo in Hawaii, effective December, 2007. Children Singing Peace Around the World is a living prayer to heal the earth sung with heartfelt commitment by youth and elders around the globe. Originally composed on Mt. Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii, its message of Peace and Aloha radiates worldwide through CSPAW programs, recordings and sharing heart to heart. CSPF supports carrying out the CSPAW mission of laying a foundation for world harmony via music and the arts. Programs are created around the basic theme of living the lyrics of the song: |

CSPAW activities bring the concept of promoting peace and unity to children of various cultural, ethnic and national backgrounds via music, the arts, dance and experiential educational activities. To date, programs have been offered in Peru, Israel, Argentina, Thailand, Japan, Canada, U.S.A., Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Australia, New Zealand and the Mohawk Nation.

Children Singing Peace Foundation programs and gatherings are made possible by extraordinary grass roots volunteerism, collaboration and sponsorship. Private gifts and contributions help bring CSPAW programs to youth around the globe, facilitate completion of the thirty CSPAW recordings and ongoing development of CSPAW educational materials, and will support the global CSPAW gathering and celebration in Hawaii in 2012.
